New CA-7 Poll Shows Overwhelming Majority Doesn’t Think Dan Lungren Deserves Reelection

October 27, 2011

The House Majority PAC today released a new Public Policy Polling (PPP) poll that shows Representative Dan Lungren in serious jeopardy of losing reelection.

In California’s 7th Congressional District, only 43% of voters would like to reelect Dan Lungren, while 54% would prefer someone else. Just 36% have a favorable opinion of the Republicans in Congress, with 53% holding a negative one.

“Republican incumbents such as Dan Lungren running in swing districts are in serious trouble and Republican control of the House is in serious jeopardy,” said Alixandria Lapp, Executive Director of the House Majority PAC.  “Come next November, California voters will hold Lungren and House Republicans accountable for failing to fight for middle class families.”

Public Policy Polling conducted this survey on behalf of House Majority PAC between October 19th and 23rd. In CA-7 500 registered voters were interviewed with a margin of error of +/-4.4%. For more, visit the House Majority PAC website.
