New HMP Ad Keeps The Spotlight on Tenney’s Record of Raising Taxes

October 2, 2018

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, House Majority PAC launched a TV ad spotlighting how much career politician Claudia Tenney enjoys Washington – taking over $500,000 from insurance and financial interests and voting for a toxic tax plan that gives massive tax breaks to the ultra-rich at the expense of hardworking New York families.

The Tenney-backed tax plan raises taxes on the middle class while giving 83 percent of the benefits to the ultra-rich. To pay for this plan, Congress intends to cut $500 billion from Medicare and Social Security.

Digs” is the second ad running as part of an approximately $900,000 total buy on broadcast and cable today in both the Syracuse and Binghamton media markets and on broadcast in the Utica media market.

“Career politician Claudia Tenney is part of the problem in Washington,” said House Majority PAC Press Secretary Hannah Blatt. “Tenney voted for a toxic agenda that hurts hardworking families – raising their taxes and jeopardizing New Yorkers’ retirement benefits and health care. It’s clear, Tenney isn’t trying to drain the swamp. She’s just another Washington politician looking out for herself and special interests.”
