New HMP Ad Takes on Martins’ Shoddy Business Record in NY-03
October 14, 2016
Washington, D.C. – Today, House Majority PAC announced a new ad in the race for NY-03. “Concrete”takes on Republican state Senator Jack Martins’ shoddy business record. Martins’ concrete company has been sued nine times for breaking labor laws and not paying required benefits to his workers. Martins’ company has also been fined $24,000 for violating worker safety laws at least 18 times.
“Hard-working Long Island families can’t count on Senator Martins to look out for them in Washington when he repeatedly failed to look out for his own employees,” said House Majority PAC Communications Director Jeb Fain. “As much as he might want to, Martins’ can’t pave over his shoddy business record, and Long Island families deserve better.”
“Concrete” can be viewed online here.
The ad begins airing on cable tomorrow, Saturday, October 15, across the district.
