New HMP Polling Shows Mike Turner Vulnerable in November
March 13, 2026
Washington, D.C. – A new House Majority PAC poll of OH-10 finds GOP Rep. Mike Turner vulnerable heading into November.
The survey shows significant political headwinds in the district that could put Turner at risk. With competitive races for governor and Senate on the ballot and a president who is increasingly unpopular in the district, top-of-the-ticket dynamics could have a notable impact on the environment in OH-10.
Key findings from HMP’s poll include:
- Trump could drag Turner down in OH-10: Donald Trump’s favorability and job approval are underwater in the district. A majority (52%) of OH-10 voters hold an unfavorable view of Trump and disapprove of his job performance.
- Trump is especially weak on the economy in OH-10: More than half (52%) of OH-10 voters disapprove of Trump’s handling of the economy, and an even larger share (54%) disapprove of his handling of inflation and affordability.
- Trump’s war in Iran is unpopular in the district: Half of voters (50%) disapprove of Trump’s handling of Iran, compared to just 44% who approve. 5% are unsure.
- Democrats lead on the generic House ballot: When asked how they would vote if the election were held today, 45% of OH-10 voters said they would support the Democratic candidate for Congress, compared to 43% for the Republican candidate. 11% are undecided.
- OH-10 voters express serious concerns about Mike Turner’s record, highlighting potent lines of attack against the incumbent: After learning that Turner has taken $3 million in corporate PAC money while voting for tax breaks benefiting those same corporations, 68% of voters said it raised serious concerns about Turner. Just 24% said it raises no real concerns, while 8% are unsure.
