New HMP Polls – Democrats on Offense Across the Country

Washington, D.C. – Today, House Majority PAC released seven new polls showing Democrats ahead or in striking distance in races across the country. The districts polled are CA-10, IL-10, IN-09, KS-03, ME-02, MN-03, and MN-08.

“Democrats are overwhelmingly on offense across the country as the House map continues expanding and the GOP brand continues to sink,” said House Majority PAC Executive Director Alixandria Lapp. “We’re going to keep holding House Republicans accountable for the extreme rhetoric and agenda that’s taken their party off the deep end.”  

CA-10: The race for CA-10 is tied with Democratic challenger Michael Eggman leading Republican Congressman Jeff Denham by 1 point (46% to 45%).

The CA-10 poll was conducted October 11 to October 13 by Clarity Campaign Labs. The margin of error is +/- 3.38%.

IL-10: Democrat Brad Schneider is leading Republican Congressman Bob Dold by 10 points – (48% to 38%).

The IL-10 poll was conducted October 11 to October 13 by Clarity Campaign Labs. The margin of error is +/- 3.61%. 

IN-09: Democrat Shelli Yoder is in a statistical tie with Republican Trey Hollingsworth – with Hollingsworth ahead by only 2 points (38% to 40%).

The IN-09 poll was conducted October 12 to October 13 by Normington, Petts and Associates. The margin of error is +/- 4.9%.

KS-03: Democratic challenger Jay Sidie is within striking distance of Republican Congressman Kevin Yoder in this newly competitive district. Sidie trails Yoder by only 4 points (37% to 41%) in an initial head-to-head.

The KS-03 poll was conducted by October 11 to October 13 by Global Strategy Group. The margin of error is +/-4.9%.

ME-02: Democratic challenger Emily Cain is leading Republican Congressman Bruce Poliquin 47% to 43%.

The ME-02 poll was conducted October 10 to October 11 by Clarity Campaign Labs. The margin of error is of +/- 3.21%.

MN-03: Democratic challenger Terri Bonoff is within the margin of error with Republican Congressman Erik Paulsen. Bonoff trails Paulsen by only 3 points (45% to 42%).

MN-08: Democratic Congressman Rick Nolan leads Republican Stewart Mills by 8 points (49% to 41%).
