New House Majority PAC Ad Highlights Choice Facing FL-07 Voters

September 20, 2016

Washington, D.C. – Today, House Majority PAC launched a new TV ad in the race for Florida’s Seventh Congressional District. “One Job” holds Republican Congressman John Mica responsible for his record of repeatedly voting to raise his pay while Congress has failed to do its job and pass a budget. The ad also highlights Democratic nominee Stephanie Murphy’s call for cutting Congressional salaries and her advocacy for No Budget, No Pay legislation requiring Members of Congress to pass a budget or not get paid.

“One Job” can be viewed online here.

“For more than two decades, Congressman Mica has exemplified everything that’s wrong with Washington,” said House Majority PAC Communications Director Jeb Fain. “Central Florida families are becoming fed up with Mica’s record of repeatedly rewarding himself while failing to do his job. Fortunately, FL-07 voters can choose a proven leader with a strong record of public service and a new approach to get the job done – by electing Stephanie Murphy this November.”

“One Job” is airing with a two-week, more than $800,000, buy on broadcast and cable in the Orlando media market. The ad is also being further augmented with close to $54,000 of digital advertising.
