“Brew” Ad In CO-07 Shows Just How Out of Touch Joe Coors Is
Washington, D.C. – House Majority PAC announced that it will begin airing a television ad today in Denver that shows just how extreme Joe Coors is. Coors backed the Personhood Initiative, rejected by Colorado voters, which would not only have banned abortion in cases of rape and incest but also could have made most common forms of birth control illegal.
The ad, entitled “Brew,” begins airing today and will run for two weeks in Denver as part of a $500,000 buy.

“Joe Coors may be undergoing an election year makeover, but the truth is he’s just too extreme for Colorado,” said Alixandria Lapp, Executive Director of House Majority PAC. “The fact that Coors agrees with Todd Akin on banning abortion even in the case of rape and incest and that he wants to make most common forms of birth control illegal shows just how outside the mainstream Joe Coors is.”
“Joe Coors is a right-wing extremist with a pattern of anti-woman activity,” said House Majority PAC Colorado Advisor Michael Huttner. “Voters will hold Joe Coors accountable for his extremist efforts to take away the rights of women in Colorado and across the country.”
