New House Majority PAC Ad Raises New Questions About Special Interests Supporting Jenkins in WV-03

Washington, D.C. – The House Majority PAC today announced that it has extended its ad campaign in WV-03 with an additional $95,000 buy and will start running a new ad today entitled “Crystal Ball.”

This new ad points out the massive amounts of money being spent to support Evan Jenkins by the Koch brothers, lawyers fighting black lung benefits, and Massey Energy executives over the course of his political career.

“It is hard to imagine Evan Jenkins ignoring the wants and desires of the Koch brothers should he be elected to Congress after all the money they have spent to try and get him there,” said Matt Thornton, Communications Director for House Majority PAC. “Congressman Rahall has a long and distinguished career of standing up for his constituents. After his party switch and all the special interest money spent to prop up his campaign, West Virginians can’t say the same about Evan Jenkins.”
