New TV Ad Calls Out Hurd for Putting Party Ahead of Texans

October 16, 2018

Washington, DC – Today, House Majority PAC launched a new TV ad in TX-23 calling out Will Hurd for siding with his party over hardworking Texas families. The ad will run in both English and Spanish.

Hurd voted for the tax plan that gives massive tax breaks to the ultra-rich while raising taxes on the middle class and adding nearly $2 trillion to the debt. To pay for it, Washington wants to cut $500 billion from Social Security and Medicare.

Will’s Herd” begins running in English and “La Manada” begins running in Spanish on cable and broadcast today in the San Antonio media market with a buy of approximately $475,000 behind them.

“Whenever it’s counted, Will Hurd has blindly followed his party leaders – voting for a toxic agenda that hurts hardworking Texans,” said House Majority PAC Press Secretary Hannah Blatt. “He sold out middle-class families and saddled our children with crushing debt, all to give tax breaks to the ultra-rich. It’s clear, Hurd can’t stand up to his party and do what’s right for Texas.”
