Washington, D.C. – Today, House Majority PAC released a TV ad in MN-03 featuring Erik Paulsen’s constituents shining a light on Paulsen’s record of siding with special interests and raising health care costs on Minnesotans. Each constituent featured in the ad either has a pre-existing condition themselves, or cares for someone who does.

Congressman Erik Paulsen took $1.2 million from the insurance industry and voted for the GOP health care bill that would gut protections for people living with pre-existing conditions and impose a punishing “Age Tax” on older Americans.

Care About” begins running on broadcast and cable today in the Minneapolis media market with a buy of approximately $600,000 behind it.

“Erik Paulsen is in the pocket of the special interests that pad his campaign coffers,” said House Majority PAC Press Secretary Hannah Blatt. “Voters are standing up to Paulsen and calling him out for siding with the insurance industry over their health care. Minnesota families can’t afford to send Erik Paulsen back to Congress where he’ll continue to put donor profits over Minnesota families.”
