New TV Ad in VA-02 Reveals How Taylor Sides with Special Interests Over Virginians
September 18, 2018
Washington, DC – Today, House Majority PAC launched a new TV ad in VA-02 highlighting how Congressman Scott Taylor sides with Washington special interests over hardworking Virginia families.
At home, Taylor is facing repercussions for his part in an election forgery scandal called “out-and-out fraud” by a local judge. Meanwhile, in Congress, he sided with special interests and voted for the toxic tax plan. This tax plan gives massive tax cuts to the ultra-rich and special interests while raising taxes on the middle class and adding $1.9 trillion to the deficit. To pay for this, Washington plans to cut hundreds of billions of dollars from Medicare, Social Security, and veterans’ health care.
“What It Means” begins running on broadcast today in the Norfolk media market with a buy of approximately $418,000 behind it.
”Scandal-ridden Scott Taylor isn’t looking out for families and veterans,” said House Majority PAC Press Secretary Hannah Blatt. “Time and again, Taylor has sided with his special interest donors over the economic interests of hardworking Virginians – raising taxes on the middle class, saddling future generations with crushing debt, and risking cuts to essential programs like Medicare and Social Security. It’s clear Scott Taylor can’t be trusted to stand up for Virginia families.”
