NH-01: House Majority PAC Congratulates Chris Pappas

November 7, 2018

Washington, D.C. – House Majority PAC congratulates Representative-Elect Chris Pappas on his victory in New Hampshire’s 1st Congressional District.

“Chris Pappas is a champion for the Granite State – boosting the local economy, providing affordable, quality health care, and investing in America’s future,” said House Majority PAC Executive Director Charlie Kelly. “We’re thrilled to have supported Chris Pappas as he goes to Congress and continues to build on Carol Shea-Porter’s legacy of fighting for New Hampshire.”

NH-01 had flipped between parties in all but one Congressional election since 2006, and HMP knew how important protecting this open seat would be. In early March, HMP reserved airtime for the final week before Election Day in the Manchester and Boston media markets. HMP ran a TV ad spotlighting Republican candidate Eddie Edwards’ support for dismantling health care for Granite Staters including stripping protections for pre-existing conditions.
