NY War Room: Brandon Williams Votes To Restrict Abortion Access Nationwide 

New York, NY – Extremist House Republicans, including Brandon Williams, voted last night for the Agriculture-FDA appropriation bill that includes a provision that would place a nationwide restriction on abortion access by outlawing mifepristone from being sold in retail pharmacies and by mail with prescriptions from a certified health care provider.

This measure would severely limit abortion access for over 64.5 million women across America overnight. Williams is also a cosponsor of H.R. 7, a draconian anti-abortion bill, and has supported abortion bans despite promising on the campaign trail that he would not vote for a national ban and would leave it up to the states.

“Anti-abortion extremist Republican Brandon Williams remains shamelessly loyal to the MAGA agenda by voting to restrict abortion access nationwide,” HMP NY Press Secretary Alisha Heng said. “Williams and his radical extremism are a clear and present danger to the rights and livelihoods of millions of Americans, and HMP will ensure he is voted out in 2024.”
