NY War Room: George Santos Votes To Restrict Abortion Access Nationwide 

New York, NY – Extremist House Republicans, including George Santos, voted last night for the Agriculture-FDA appropriation bill that includes a provision that would place a nationwide restriction on abortion access by outlawing mifepristone from being sold in retail pharmacies and by mail with prescriptions from a certified health care provider.

This measure would severely limit abortion access for over 64.5 million women across America overnight. Santos has been outspoken on his anti-abortion stance, comparing it to slavery and accepting endorsements from extremist groups such as the National Right to Life Victory Fund.

“Anti-abortion extremist Republican George Santos remains shamelessly loyal to the MAGA agenda by voting to restrict abortion access nationwide,” HMP NY Press Secretary Alisha Heng said. “Santos and his radical extremism are a clear and present danger to the rights and livelihoods of millions of Americans, and HMP will ensure he is voted out in 2024.”
