NY War Room: New York Republicans Continue Speaker Chaos as Government Shuts Down in Under 29 Days

New York, NY – With the government shutdown clock dwindling to 29 days and US allies desperately in need of critical aid, New York Republicans Nick LaLota, George Santos, Anthony D’Esposito, Mike Lawler, Marc Molinaro, and Brandon Williams continue to put politics over people.

Shamelessly ignoring the best interests of New Yorkers and the American people, LaLota, Santos, D’Esposito, Lawler, Molinaro, and Williams place our national security and the lives of Americans at risk as their dysfunctional Republican Party still cannot reach consensus on electing a Speaker.

In less than 30 days, over a million active-duty troops will be forced to go to work protecting our country without pay, and the livelihoods of tens of millions of Americans will be in jeopardy as they lose access to critical government services – including housing, disaster response, and nutrition assistance.
