NY War Room: Spooky Halloween Scaries – Oh Wait That’s Just the Records of Long Island Republicans!

New York, NY – Long Islanders are getting shivers down their spine today, not because of Halloween but from seeing what Long Island Republicans Nick LaLota, George Santos, and Anthony D’Esposito have done in office.
Here’s a round-up of some of their despicable actions:
- Propelled far-right, election-denying, anti-choice extremist Mike Johnson into the Speakership.
- Held fundraisers and cozied up to donors while fueling Republican chaos with a looming government shutdown that’d jeopardize the livelihood of millions of Americans and as US allies needed critical aid.
- Voted for multiple national abortion restrictions, including criminalizing doctors who provided reproductive care and outrightly banning abortion access nationally.
- Refusing to condemn and even endorsing reckless GOP proposals and spending bills that would drastically slash Medicare and Social Security and defund our nation’s public safety.
“Long Island Republicans Nick LaLota, George Santos, and Anthony D’Esposito are only interested in serving their interests as they continue to push an extreme agenda that endangers New Yorkers by installing a far-right Speaker who wants to gut Social Security, slash Medicare, and pass a nationwide abortion ban,” HMP NY Press Secretary Alisha Heng said. “Long Islanders are tired of not being heard and will vote them out in 2024.”
