NY War Room: Will Mike Lawler, Marc Molinaro, And Brandon Williams Denounce Trump’s Vow To Terminate The Affordable Care Act?

November 27, 2023

New York, NY – In case you missed it, the GOP’s all-but-sure-to-be presidential nominee Donald Trump vowed to “terminate” the Affordable Care Act.

The Affordable Care Act provides coverage for nearly 40 million Americans and has lowered costs of prescription drugs, capped the price of insulin, and made high-quality health care possible for the 135 million Americans with pre-existing conditions.

Without it, millions of Americans will be left uninsured with no alternatives to access affordable, life-saving care while insurance companies will gain free reign to inflate prices and deny coverage overnight.

49 million seniors will have to pay more for prescription drugs, 21 million Americans will lose Medicaid coverage, and 2.3 million adults under 26 will be taken off their parents’ insurance.

Will Mike Lawler, Marc Molinaro, and Brandon Williams denounce Trump’s terrifying plan to gut affordable health care for millions?

“New Yorkers deserve representatives who will protect our coverage given the GOP’s self-destructive war on health care, instead of spineless cowards Mike Lawler, Marc Molinaro, and Brandon Williams who will embrace the MAGA agenda at any cost,” said HMP New York Press Secretary Dora Pekec. “Mike Lawler, Marc Molinaro, and Brandon Williams’ silence is damning but unsurprising, and HMP looks forward to making them one-term Congressmen come 2024.”
