Professional Avoider Martha McSally Dodging Questions On SB 1062

February 26, 2014

Washington, D.C. – When Arizona GOP candidate Martha McSally traveled to Hawaii last weekend to deliver a Lincoln Day dinner address, she reportedly told attendees, “Always ask, why not.”

Fair enough. So the question for McSally is, why not tell southern Arizonans where you stand on Arizona’s radical, discriminatory and shameful SB 1062, which sits on the governor’s desk awaiting action. Even her political backer, Sen. John McCain, has denounced the legislation.

“Martha McSally has become an expert in ducking, dodging and weaving after centering her campaign around avoiding telling southern Arizonans where she stands on issue after issue,” said Andy Stone, Communications Director for House Majority PAC. “And now, as Arizona’s discriminatory and shameful SB 1062 sits on Governor Brewer’s desk awaiting action, McSally is once again nowhere to be found.”
