Rick Nolan Leading Chip Cravaack In New MN-08 Poll
August 31, 2012
Washington, D.C. – A new poll conducted for House Majority PAC, SEIU, AFSCME and Friends of Democracy found Democrat Rick Nolan beating Republican Chip Cravaack in Minnesota’s Eighth District, 47 to 44 percent.
Nolan moves even further ahead of Cravaack, 50 to 43 percent, after survey respondents were read balanced, positive paragraphs about each candidate.
An analysis memo from the polling firm, GBA Research, is available .
“With an ideological agenda that is way outside the Minnesota mainstream, Chip Cravaack is one of the most endangered Republicans in the nation,” said Alixandria Lapp, Executive Director of House Majority PAC. “After all, he voted to essentially end Medicare, forcing seniors to pay more for care, supports protecting tax breaks for companies that outsource American jobs and even rented himself a luxury SUV, sticking taxpayers with the bill.”
