Shannon Roche Named Deputy Executive Director of House Majority PAC

September 20, 2011

House Majority PAC Executive Director Alixandria Lapp announced today that Democratic Party strategist Shannon Roche has been named Deputy Executive Director of the House Majority PAC. Roche is a veteran of more than 15 years in the progressive movement and Democratic politics.

“I’m thrilled that Shannon Roche has joined the House Majority PAC team as Deputy Executive Director,” said Lapp. “Shannon has the right combination of experience, political know-how and leadership savvy to help House Democrats take back the House.”

“Since it launched in the Spring, House Majority PAC hasn’t wasted any time in holding House Republicans and the powerful voices on the Right accountable for their extreme agenda,” said Roche. “I’m excited to be working with such a strong team of seasoned campaign operatives at the House Majority PAC.”

Prior to joining House Majority PAC, Roche served in various roles at the Democracy Alliance (DA), most recently as Chief Operating Officer, and helped grow the DA from the ground up into one of the largest drivers of activist support for progressive movement institutions. Roche has served in various organizational management, member services and fundraising roles for the DNC, Gore2000, and the host committee for the 2004 Democratic National Convention. She received a B.A., cum laude, from Duke University and an M.P.P. from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.
