Super PAC targets John Faso

U.S. Rep. John Faso is the target of a new radio and television campaign from a Democratic super PAC.

The House Majority political action committee is investing more than $800,000 into advertisements that fault the freshman Republican for accepting campaign contributions from the insurance industry and then voting for legislation that gave them tax breaks. The 30-second television advertisement begins on Tuesday and solely focuses on Faso, while the one-minute radio spot, which recently started all over the district, also promotes Democratic challenger Antonio Delgado.

The 19th Congressional District stretches from the Capital Region into the Hudson Valley and includes all of Columbia, Greene and Schoharie counties, and parts of Montgomery and Rensselaer counties.
