VA-02: House Majority PAC Congratulates Elaine Luria

Washington, D.C. – House Majority PAC congratulates Representative-Elect Elaine Luria on her victory in Virginia’s 2^nd Congressional District.

VA-02 was always going to be a competitive race, but with a dynamic candidate as well as incumbent Scott Taylor facing scandal, and having a record of siding with Washington special interests to boot, HMP recognized Democrats had a great opportunity to pick up this seat.

HMP invested in two TV ads in the Norfolk media market. The ads focused on scandal-ridden Scott Taylor and his votes for the GOP agenda that hurts hardworking Virginia families – raising taxes and increasing health care costs. In addition to the TV ads, HMP partnered with Priorities USA Action to highlight Scott Taylor’s vote for the GOP tax plan that saddles future generations with massive debt.
