Video: After ‘Street Walker,’ Fetal Masturbation, Amnesty Claims – A Status Update On Failed Republican Rebrand
June 25, 2013
Washington, D.C. – House Majority PAC today released a video pinpointing some of the most recent examples of how spectacularly the vaunted Republican rebrand has failed.
The video is available here.
Of course, after major electoral losses in 2012, Republicans began 2013 with autopsies, apology tours and commitments to do things differently. In fact, Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Preibus famously argued that Republicans would “talk to people we haven’t before.”
But now, whether it’s:
- Claims about fetal masturbation from OB/GYN Rep. Michael Burgess
- A mixed-race GOP Congressional candidate being told by a GOP county party chair that she’ll soon be “working for some law firm that needs to meet their quota for minority hire”
- Sen. Jeff Sessions maintaining that immigration reform is about nothing more than playing “ethnic politics”
- Shouts of comprehensive immigration reform being a synonym for amnesty from Michele Bachmann, Steve King and Dana Rohrabacher
Evidence of Republican’s failed rebrand is abundant.
