Washington, D.C. – House Majority PAC Communications Director CJ Warnke issued the following statement after The Washington Post today reported that, “House Republicans have started to weigh a series of legislative proposals targeting Social Security, Medicare and other entitlement programs, part of a broader campaign to slash federal spending”:

If vulnerable Republicans who shamelessly call themselves ‘moderates’ move to gut Social Security and Medicare, House Majority PAC will ensure that they are held accountable and voted out in 2024.”
