Why Won’t Michael Grimm Come Clean On Support For Sandy Relief Fund-Denier Ted Cruz?

Washington, D.C. – As Tea Party darling Ted Cruz, who led the fight against Sandy relief funds, prepares to keynote the New York Republican Party’s Annual State Dinner tomorrow night, the normally chatty, loquacious and talkative New York Republican Rep. Michael Grimm is nowhere to be found.
“It’s no wonder Michael Grimm doesn’t want to talk about support for Ted Cruz, who led opposition to the critical Sandy relief funds that are helping families and businesses rebuild,” said Andy Stone, Communications Director for House Majority PAC. “After all, it would be a slap in the face to Sandy-afflicted communities if Michael Grimm gallivants around with the very senator who called Sandy relief funding ‘wasteful.’”
